Meet Soschi Sidhu
Harmita (Soschi) K. Sidhu, Municipal Bond Analyst, Research, Seifried & Brew (S&B)
Harmita Sidhu (aka “Soschi”) brings to the Seifried & Brew table over 20+ years of financial services experience, currently focusing on the credit worthiness of municipal bond debt issues for Seifried & Brew's client base that they want to purchase or continue to hold. Soschi's detailed focus from both an analytical standpoint and previous supervisory editing/compliance background help to forge the gap between fair financial reporting, and the analysis of the security at hand.
Her career started off in the early '90s at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH) in the equity research division assisting in the coverage of super-regional large-cap U.S. bank stocks and continued later on with coverage of small- and mid-cap community banks at Advest, Inc., including the participation of IPOs followed by respective new coverage. Following Advest, Soschi returned to covering of large-cap banks at Prudential Securities for a year before joining financial service boutique, Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, Inc./KBW (now Stifel) in early 2001 with a short stint of coverage covering both the bond insurance and property-casualty insurance sectors pre-9/11/01. Soschi transitioned into a supervisory analyst role during the firm's post-9/11 rebuild phase and was instrumental in disclosure reporting within its research department when heightened compliance issues were at the forefront on Wall Street.
Soschi holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and has previously held Series 7, 63, and 16 FINRA designations. Soschi currently holds the PA Life, Accidental and Heath Insurance license, and is active with the Southern Lehigh High School Swim team booster club.
